        <summary>Each of our servers runs MySQL Server 5.1. A MySQL server is only responsible for the hostees on his own server, i.e. hostees on ghost will have to use ghost's MySQL server.

Web Access

We provide two alternatives to access your database using a web-based frontend: phpMyAdmin and (the more leightweight and faster) SQLBuddy.

Both are available via HTTPS only at &lt;yourservername&gt;.puffinhost.com/phpMyAdmin/ and &lt;yourservername&gt;.puffinhost.com/sqlbuddy/.

        <summary>We currently have two stacks of DNS servers depending on which server you are hosted. Whenever possible, please point your domain to the server names only (and omit the IP addresses), as this will simplify failover should one of the servers crash or be unreachable.</summary>

We discontinued running a FTP server, because passwords and data are usually transferred unencrypted via the FTP protocol. As we were aiming at a safe setup, we made the decision to offer SSH/SFTP only. Now don't worry -- every fairly recent FTP Client should be getting along just fine with SFTP.</summary>
